Math Boxes
We have some math boxes in our room. The boxes have lego and plastic blocks. We make "things" with them.

Our Map
We have a map of our school on the wall. We are learning to take pride in our school and local and wider communities.
Our Reading
We read a story to our teacher and we take this book home to read to our parents.
Power Patrol
Our class is on power patrol. We check all the classrooms at morning tea and lunchtimes. We turn off the lights that are left on.
Managing Self Arrows
We are learning to manage our own learning and behaviour. Some of our class are on the orange and yellow arrows.

Room 2 Activities
Tee Shirts: Book of the Week
To draw our tee shirts we used a black marker to do the outline. We added patterns with crayon and then dyed it. The letter on our tee shirts are the beginning of our names.
Reading Stations
We have reading stations in our classroom. Some stations are: the library corner, reading games, listening post, big books and puzzles. While we learn at the stations the teacher works with a group.
Mathematics
We are learning to count forward and backwards to 20.

We are learning the letter "h" and the sound "ch".
